Hiking
Guests are invited to explore the area in which Whispering Pines is situated whether it be on a marked trail which leads up to a ridge behind the Lodge where some truly spectacular views can be observed or down to the Old Quipolly Dam where guests will be able to view the abundant birdlife.

Animals & Birdwatching
The area is home to many animals native to Australia including Kangaroos, Rock Wallabies and possums. Bird watching is also a popular passtime.

Twisted Unit Massage Therapy’s Annette Stone can treat you with the ultimate Deep Tissue Sports massage or provide a relaxing and soothing Swedish stylemassage at the end of your day of bush walking and having fun. Quality paintings by local Artist Robbie Duck are on display at Whispering Pines Bush Retreat and are available for sale. A broad range of Robbie's works including landscapes, portraits, and pet portraits, done in either oil or pastels can be viewed by arrangement – phone for further details.
